Pick Your Own Line

This is a revolutionary new way of betting which is becoming absolutely massive in Australia these days. It was Centrebet who kicked it off a few years ago but now other bookies are following suit with Sportsbet and IASbet now offering their customers Pick Your Own Line betting facilities, plus watch out for more soon.

For those of you unaware of what the Pick Your Own Line bet type actually is, well it lets you do exactly what is says and that is pick your own line!

Take this example. When betting on the line you’ll always get odds of around $1.91 or so depending on the bookie, so let’s say for example there is a Carlton versus Essendon football match and the line is 17.5 points. You might think to yourself you fancy Carlton to cover the -17.5 point line, but also think they could win by much more.

With Pick Your Own Line you can do just that. You can adjust the line by increments of 1 point, so -18.5 pts might be $1.94 and -19.5 may be $1.97 or -20.5 could be $2.00 and so on. Or you might think the other way and go -16.5 at $1.88 or -15.5 at $1.84 and so forth.

You getting the picture now? You can adjust the line by subtracting or adding to the point’s line and in return adjust the odds at the same time. It is a super way of betting, particularly if you add selections to multibets and spruce up the odds even more.
